Accounting Technician Account On Me, an independent accounting firm in Calgary, is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Technician. The salary for this position is commensurate with work experience. Roles and Responsibilities: • Perform bookkeeping functions • Preparation of working paper files • Preparation of financial statements • Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns • Bookkeeping support for clients Skills and Experience Required: • Must be proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel • Candidates familiar with (any or all) Simply, QuickBooks , Profile and tax preparation software would be preferred • Excellent communication (both oral and written) and organizational skills • Must be able to work effectively under deadlines • Must work well in a team environment and independently • Experience in a public accounting firm would be a definite asset. • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years work experience as an accounting technician.
